Soaring Socks

My first socks made on two circulars were finished this weekend. When I was at General Convention, a woman from the diocese of Michigan, a few rows ahead of me, was knitting socks on circulars and from her I learned about Cat Bordhi's book Socks Soar on Two Circular Needles. The green pair are made of washable merino wool made in South Africa and distributed by Louet Sales. It is called Gems Opal and the color is fern green. The other pair of socks is a pair I started ages ago using the Lion Brand self-striping yarn and a porcupine of DPNs. For some reason, no matter how often I use it, I can never remember how to do kitchener stitch and each time I have to look it up on knitty.com. And I didn't quite get around to that with this pair of socks. But now I have... Anna is our model, as usual.
